The kitsch factor of this plate is relatively low, compared with some other stuff you have shown here. It is not zero, but it could be worse. I like the shape.
That’s high praise, coming from you. In fact I think I’ll title my next post ‘low kitsch factor’. you have to remember that these are Australian items and we didn’t really get our modernist groove until well into the 90s.
